It has become evident that there has been a world wide panic regarding the most recent outbreak of Novel Coronavirus, 2019-nCoV.
At the present time there is no evidence of transmission in the community in Victoria, but there are ways we can reduce our risk.
If we all play a role in taking responsibility to ensure we practice good hygiene, as you would to avoid the flu or common cold, we can help protect each other from any potential spread of disease. And if you find yourself presenting with symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat or breathing difficulties after having recently traveled overseas or been in contact with someone who has, avoid public venues and contact your local doctor.
